Apple’s iPhone 12 series was released in October 2020. It consists of four specific handsets each with their own benefits. The iPhone Mini is the smallest handset and also the most affordable. Although small it is mighty, yet still very light and compact, which is the beauty behind this device.

Design & Display

Although the iPhone 12 Mini is the smallest in the series, it doesn’t sacrifice on design or spec. This handset has the same aerospace-grade aluminium edges that its larger siblings. It is easy to hold and can be easily stored in a pocket thanks to the 5.4 inch Super Retina XDR screen.

Despite its small size, this device will provide a rich viewing experience. The iPhone 12 mini has True Tone technology, meaning that it can achieve the perfect colour balance in any environment. With a screen to body ratio of 85.1%, bezels are barely even visible.

Apple’s Ceramic Shield protects this advanced display, made of nano-ceramic crystals stronger than most metals. iPhone 12 mini also has an IP68 water-resistant rating, giving it protection in up to 6m of water for 30 min.

Camera

The iPhone 12 Mini and the iPhone 12 feature the same high-spec camera technology and this stylish dual-lens setup, mounted in a square mount at the back of the phone. You have a primary 12MP wide-angle lens for your everyday photography needs, plus a second 12MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field-of-view, which is perfect for creating panoramic shots.

This handset also features a range of cutting edge photography software. Dim lighting doesn’t have to be an issue – you can capture stunning photos in the dark with Night mode or use Portrait Mode for family and friends. Portrait Mode offers 6 different lighting effects, including Natural, Contour, or Studio.

iPhone12 Mini records in 4K with DolbyVision, allowing amateur videographers the ability to capture professional-quality footage anywhere and anytime, provided they have their smartphone. After you have finished recording, you can edit the film in iMovies or in the Photos app. You can also extract 8MP stills of your footage if it is the right frame.

Mini Power

The Mini is a powerhouse. The Mini is equipped with the A14 Bionic Chip, the fastest smartphone chip, and a next-generation neural engine. You can expect smooth operation even when using the most advanced apps or recording at 4K.

The A14 Bionic ensures that the iPhone 12 mini can handle a 5G connection, giving seamless downloads, a crystal-clear connection, and a lag-free gaming experience when you are in a 5G-supported area.

This phone is 5G-ready and comes with iOS14 pre-installed and ready for setup. You can start enjoying all the latest features of Apple’s operating system as soon as you press the power button. The most recent version includes several new features such as the App Library, a new way to categorize your apps intuitively so that your most-used apps are always at your fingertips. You can also use the Picture In Picture mode to view a FaceTime call in the corner of the screen while you reply to an email or check a text.

Mini Battery

This handset is small and convenient. It also has a 2,227-mAh Li-Ion battery which can last up to 15 hours of video and 50 minutes of audio on one charge.

You don’t need to plug your phone in overnight to charge it. Fast Charging works with any compatible charger 20W or higher (sold separately). 50% of the charge is achieved in 30 minutes.

You can wirelessly charge your iPhone 12 Mini with any Qi-certified charger or Apple’s MagSafe Charging tech.
