The world turned to Apple Park this September for ‘California Streaming,’ its 2021 launch announcement. It included several new products and updates to the Apple range. After a quick security update for iPhone users was sent on September 14, we were at the Apple Event to unveil some incredible new gadgets.
iPad 9th Generation
The latest iPad was designed to be faster and more efficient than any tablet on the market, including the Chromebook and Android tablets. The 9th iPad’s aesthetic design is very similar to the 2020 version. It’s a 10.2-inch entry-level tablet. But it’s the hidden features that will get users excited.
The brand new A13 Bionic processor is the fastest Apple tablet ever made. It is expected to perform 20% faster than any other tablets on the market and not decrease power consumption. It also enhances the original features of the A12 processor.
The iPad 9th Generation features Centre Stage as standard. It also has an upgraded FaceTime camera and the option of 64GB or 128GB storage. All new iPads will be automatically updated with iPadOS 15 before the roll-out to customers next week.
iPad Mini 6th Gen
Apple has essentially reduced the size of their iPad Air and made it the 6th generation iPad Mini.
Apple promises a huge tablet at 8.3 inches with improved graphics and a 40% faster CPU thanks to the A15 bionic processor. It’s one of the smallest tablets Apple currently has. The tablet is updated with optional 5G capabilities, and it’s compatible with the second-generation Apple Pencil. The new camera features Centre Stage capabilities and can create 4K video and photos.
Models are available in four colours: space grey, pink and purple, and can be ordered starting at 64GB or up to 256GB.
Apple Watch Series 7
This new design replaces the Apple Watch 6 and makes the timepiece smaller, lighter, and durable. The Series 6 screen has a slightly rounded screen that allows for a smooth transition between the screen and the case. It is also 20% larger than Series 6. The Series 6 will feature a QWERTY keyboard, allowing users to type directly onto their watch screens. It is a smaller one.
The watch’s brightness has been increased for general use and is compatible with Apple WatchOS 8. The watch is waterproof and dust-resistant with an IP6X rating.
As it has done before, Apple has teamed up to create special editions of the product with Nike and Hermes fashion house.
iPhone 13/13 Mini
These two new iPhones were the most significant additions to California Streaming’s launch.
The A15 processor will be featured on the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini. This will give the phone a higher efficiency level, better performance and longer-lasting durability, along with a 6-core GPU.
Things have been improved design-wise. The 12MP camera has been upgraded to take better pictures and show more sunlight. This makes it ideal for long-range photography as well as low-lighting photos. The new ‘Cinematic Mode,’ allows images to focus on different subjects when shooting video. The graphics display has been greatly improved by adding a Super Retina LCD and an updated dual-camera.
iPhone 13 Pro / iPhone 13 Pro Max
The 13 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max, which are the most high-spec iPhones available, have been overhauled in the display and camera departments.
The phones are equipped with the A15 Bionic Processor, a 1TB maximum storage, and ProMotion display. This feature allows for the first 3x optical zoom, improved high-shooting capabilities, and macro photography mode that creates sharper, closer images farther away.
Cinematic Mode is also available, which allows creators to shift focus after a video has been shot. It also offers a 4K30 video shooting option that makes the video sharper and clearer.
