Google will release a foldable device by the end of the year.

According to a new rumour, the Google Pixel Fold release date may be in the last months of 2021. This would mean the tech giant is due to release the secret foldable and the Google Pixel 6 before the end of the year.

David Naranjo, Senior Display Supply Chain Consultants, tweeted that several devices are due to arrive in Q3 and 4 of 2021. These devices will likely use LTPO OLED panels by Samsung Display Company (SDC). This list includes the newly launched iPhone 13 Pro, while the Google Pixel 6 Pro (and Google Pixel Fold) are expected to be released in Q3.

The announcement of iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz marks 20 phones using LTPO OLED panels by SDC.

The most anticipated release will be the Pixel Fold, especially considering the release window of the device by the end of the year. It’s likely to arrive around the same time that the Google Pixel 6 lineup, which is expected in October, so we could see Google’s foldable much sooner than we thought.

The Pixel Fold is one of the most anticipated releases of 2021.

We’ve known for a while that the Pixel Fold would be available in 2021, but it’s not clear when. It’s been rumoured that the Pixel Fold could be launched in 2021, but it hasn’t been confirmed. SO, why do we think we might see it this year?

According to the latest rumour, the Pixel Fold’s specs are compared against the Pixel 6, which Google has openly confirmed ( and was even displayed in NYC Google Store windows). The report suggests that the Pixel Fold could actually be a foldable version of the tech giants next flagship, so confidence is high that we’ll see it soon.

The Pixel Fold could still arrive in 2022. Even though it was called the heavily-rumoured codename “Passport” in an Android 12 beta, along with codenames associated with the Pixel 6 or Google Pixel 5a codenames, we might see it arrive in 2022.

The Pixel Fold has not been mentioned in as much smartphone talk as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Google may still tease this device at its next flagship unveiling, keeping us all waiting. PLEASE!!
