Samsung‘s Galaxy S22 Series is not due to be released until 2022. However, the latest leak provides a good indication of the specifications that can be expected on the next flagship handsets.
Ice Universe via Weibo has revealed that the three models will be the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+, respectively. They will also feature modified versions of the Galaxy S21 design.
The Galaxy S22 will be equipped with a 6.06-inch LTPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. The S22+ will feature a 6.55-inch LTPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will sport a 6.81-inch LTPO display with a Quad HD+ Resolution. All models will be able to refresh at 120Hz.
The Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22+ have the following specifications: a 50-megapixel main cam, 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a 12-megapixel Telephoto camera with 3x optical variable.
Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 108-megapixel main cam, 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel Telephoto 3x optical variable. A 12-megapixel Periscope 12x optical variable is also included.
The Galaxy S22’s battery capacity is reported to be 3800mAh, 4600mAh and 5000mAh, respectively, for the Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Another leak, this time from Twitter user FronTron, claims that the devices will run on either the Samsung Exynos 2200 (with AMD) or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898. The storage options and RAM are identical to the Galaxy S21 range.
