How Android 12’s auto-rotate screen works with face detection, Google- Android 12 will get a new feature from Google

Google’s next major Android update, Android 12, will be out soon. It will include several new features and improvements. One of these is an auto-rotate system, which relies on face detection. Although it isn’t a revolutionary feature, it is still quite amazing to use.

Here’s how it works.

  • What’s the latest with Android 12’s auto-rotate screen feature?
Google’s Android 12 has a new way to change the orientation of your screen from vertical to horizontal. Android 12 uses your front-facing camera to control the orientation of your screen. Instead of using your phone’s accelerometer, it will instead use your device’s accelerometer. Android 12 will detect your face and ensure that the screen is aligned correctly for you.
  • Why is Android 12’s new auto-rotate screen feature cool?
How many times has your smartphone switched from landscape to landscape mode when you were actually trying to use portrait mode as you lay down? It’s quite annoying, so most people will turn off auto-rotate because it is so irritating. Android 12’s face detection system detects your face and determines its position, making it more accurate to determine how you hold your device and use it before changing rotations.
  • Enable auto-rotate screen using face detection in Android 12
These steps work on the current Android 12 beta for Pixel phones. It is not clear if this will make it into the final Android 12 build for consumers. For the most recent information, stay tuned to our detailed guide on Android 12.

How to Enable

  • Swipe down twice from the top on your unlocked Android 12 phone.
  • Click the (gear-shaped), Settings icon at the corner of Quick Settings panel.
  • Click “Display. Tap “Display.
  • Scroll down until you see “Autorotate screen”, then tap it.
  • Click on “Use auto-rotate” then click “Enable face detection”.

This will activate Android 12’s face detection auto-rotate feature.
