Keynote: New ways to present

Keynote presentations are more personal, interactive, and collaborative, thanks to powerful new tools. Users can now add live video to Keynote presentations by using the front-facing camera of their iPhone, iPad, or Mac. This allows the presenter, or a remote participant, to interact with the slide content. It is ideal for lecturing, tutorial videos, and small presentations via video conferencing apps. For a more elegant look, live video objects can easily be resized and styled using masks; frames, drop shadows, reflections, and other tools. Mac users can connect multiple cameras to enhance the live video. They can also show the screen from an iPad or iPhone connected right on a slide for interactive demos.

Multi-presenter options allow everyone to control a shared slideshow from their iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Multiple users can simultaneously advance slides, regardless of whether they are present in the same room or remotely. After users have finished with their slides, they can either return control to the host or let another presenter continue the group presentation.

A new Pages experience optimised for iPhone.
Pages documents are read more on iPhones than on any other device. Pages offer a new experience that makes it easier to edit and read pages on the move. Screen View has been updated to display text and images in a single column; continuous flow optimised for iPhone screens. Screen View can be used to magnify text and to display drawings and photos. Tables can also be scrolled horizontally. Screen View is available on all word processing documents. It doesn’t need any additional setup. Users still have access to the full range of Pages editing tools when enabled. Screen View can also be turned off so that users can view the page layout of their document before printing it or publishing it.

Numbers is the easiest way to make the most of your data.

It has a simple interface, beautiful charts and graphs, and an excellent user interface. With pivot tables, users can now quickly group, summarise and rearrange data to find and analyse trends and patterns. It is easy to create a pivot table using Numbers. Users can select the data they want to include, group it and summarise it, and access other display options via the sidebar. The resultant pivot table is presented in a simple layout that allows users to easily read and gain insight. You can visualise your pivot tables with intuitive charts and share them with others. The source data is kept private so you don’t have to. You can also import and export pivot tables into and from Microsoft Excel. Numbers is the first mobile app to offer full-featured pivot table functionality. It works across iPhone, iPad and Mac. Users can also access this powerful data analysis tool from anywhere they are.

Radar charts, an innovative chart type, allow you to visually compare multiple variables. Similarities are shown as overlapping areas. This allows outliers and differences to stand out. New filter options allow users to find duplicate entries or unique values in their data or show or hide rows that correspond to a particular value.
