A dual ion exchange, which increases the size and solidity of the ions, adds another layer of reinforcement. This is similar to how the iPhone’s glass layer looks on the back. It reduces scratches and other blemishes. The glass will remain intact, regardless of any damage.
Ceramic Shield and Gorilla Glass Victus
Corning, which created Gorilla Glass for iPhone in 2010, has been developing screen protection for smartphones ever since. It collaborates extensively with both Samsung and Apple. Corning’s latest update, Gorilla Glass Victus, was released in 2020. It is available on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series as well as the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It isn’t easy to compare it with Ceramic Shield.
Their structure is the main difference. Victus is made from stronger aluminosilicate glass instead of the ceramic-ceramic mixture used in Ceramic Shield. Because of its strength, scratch resistance and low weight, this compound is ideal for protecting smartphones.
