The world of Android phones can be very different from the world of Apple phones. Apple strives to provide the same experience across all its devices, while Android embraces variety with phones made by other manufacturers offering very different personalities and features.
This means that personal brand preferences play a significant role, in addition to the core Android experience. You have many options and a wide range of pricing options.
We have reviewed all options, so here is our list of the top Android phones right now.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
Samsung delivered the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which is a flagship smartphone for 2021. It is powerful and has a stunning display. However, it also comes with a camera that delivers even better than the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
The software allows for a lot of customization. A move closer to Google will be appreciated by both Samsung and Google fans. It’s a great phone with very few flaws.
Oppo X3 Pro
Oppo is becoming more and more remarkable. From the high-quality design to the powerful performance, the Find X3 Pro Android phone is among the most impressive we have ever used.
It has excellent cameras and more sophisticated software, making Android a fantastic experience. It has a great display and a fast charging speed.
OnePlus 9
We chose the OnePlus 9 because it provides a great experience at a lower price – without the same shortcomings as the OnePlus 9 Pro.
This device offers outstanding performance, the OxygenOS software treatment and fast charging. It also has a 120Hz display.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
The Galaxy S20 FE has the same specs and performance as the top models but at a lower price.
These are compromises that we believe are worth making. The 1080p display with the 120Hz refresh rate is excellent.
Although there is no 3.5mm socket for headphones, the microSD card, flagship Qualcomm hardware (globally), and good speakers make this a great choice.
Sony Xpe ria5 II
Sony’s flagship phones are so high-end with features such as a 4K screen, it’s no surprise that the Xperia 5 II, a smaller, less ambitious phone, has more appeal.
The smaller model has the same performance, but it is less promising and costs less makingit more enjoyable. It stands out thanks to its 21:9 screen, excellent sound and quality build.
Xiaomi Mi 11
Xiaomi’s Mi 11 is the most advanced hardware, with a modern design and top-flight experience.
The lack of waterproofing hampers it. Some users will find the insufficient zoom and other MIUI software quirks to be frustrating.
Redmi Pro
The Redmi Pro is a mid-range package with a great display at a low price, so it’s hard to miss. Redmi offers a lot for your money, and many will find it to be the only phone they ever need.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G
The Samsung A52 5G is an excellent example of how close mid-range smartphones can be to flagship phones. You get a lot for your buck with waterproofing, stereo speakers and a great display.

Google Pixel 4a
The Pixel 4a 5G provides the same experience as its predecessor, but has a bigger display, better speakers, and is less expensive. The Pixel 4a 5G is limited in some areas: it has a 60Hz display and there’s no wireless charging or waterproofing. But, other than that, it offers an amazing experience.
You get the full Pixel camera experience. This sub-flagship phone offers some of the most stunning images you will see on a Smartphone at a great price.

Xiaomi Mi11 Lite 5G
Xiaomi’s Mi 11 Lite may have all you need, but take a moment to appreciate the design. It is a small phone that looks amazing.
This mid-range phone delivers excellent performance, a great display and decent battery life. All this with 5G. This makes it a fantastic package, and makes the phone feel like it has improved over 2020.

OnePlus Nord
After years of climbing the price ladder with their Pro and standard models phones, the OnePlus Nord is now the first company device to do away with their high-end processors.
The Nord is a mid-range phone with the Snapdragon 765 chipset and offers a very competitive experience for its cost.
The device has 5G, plenty of storage, fast charging, fluid software, and a large and fast display. The main camera is excellent, and the other cameras are distracting. The Nord is a great budget phone.
Google Pixel 4a
Although it doesn’t have a flagship processor, the phone offers almost the same Pixel experience for a fraction of what the full Pixel 4 costs. This phone is all about lowering your price barrier and allowing you to access the excellent Pixel camera without spending a lot of money.
It runs the same version of Android as the Pixel 4 and has some AI smarts to ensure that animations and software run as smooth as possible.
Google Pixel 4a Review: A small but powerful
Samsung Galaxy Note 20
Samsung had two Note 20 models, the Ultra with a large camera and glass back and the regular Note 20 which has a plastic back and more sensible camera offerings.
The Note 20 packs plenty of power, performance and features. It also has a decent camera with excellent resolution and a great display.
Moto G9 Motor
Although the Moto G9 Power is affordable, it packs a large battery. It will last you for two days, which is why it’s so popular.
The remainder of the package provides a decent phone without bloatware and clutter. It also has a design that, while modern, is very light on the bezel for a modern appearance.
